Most of what we read today are great forecasts of billions of connected products and how information will lead us through a “fourth industrial revolution.” Secondarily, we read of how algorithms and models that lead to better predictive techniques, big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as a panacea for growth. While I agree with those statements, there’s a lack of domain-specific information for driving this incremental value with connectivity and data science.
